I'll defer to you, but I'm pretty sure I never thought AJ was popular in any clubhouse. However, if I did, I was wrong. AJ was never popular in any clubhouse. I apologize.

No, you didnt say he was popular.

But you were arguing that AJ wasnt a gamble because he was good. I countered by saying it was kind of a gamble because so many teams passed because of the Giants situation.

No need for apologies. Im just saying, that is when I started thinking you might not be the biggest fan.

Anyway, when Soler wins his 4th MVP....of the World Series, we'll have a good laugh about all this.

I was saying it was a good move because he was a good player and because of his clubhouse issues he was a good signing. Clearly, it didn't hurt them in terms of winning.

It was a GREAT move. We agree on that.

But at the time, you acted as if I made up the issues about A.J. just to further my argument. Clearly, I did not.

Post of the thread.

Who the hell is Jared Mitchell?
Is he some linebacker prospect the Bears are thinking about drafting?

He is a Sox prospect. You could say that about any Sox prospect. If he charged the opposing dugout with a bat, there would be 4 thread on it by now, and another 2 from bigfan.

I know who Jared Mitchell is. I heard him talking about fishing on the Chauncey show,

Crackpot? Has bernstein ever given any impression that he doesn't root for the Cubs? Barry Rozner claims he isn't a Cubs fan too.

Bernstein does root for the Cubs. But your theory is that he's a Cubs fan who masquerades as a Sox fan. I disagree with that. I think he likes both teams.

I think he roots for both too. I'm just not sure which one he's pulling for when they meet. I'd bet everything North never roots for the Sox vs. the Cubs. bernstein always has a positive Cub spin. His spin on the Sox is generally negative, which is odd when he's trying to sell their tickets. The thing is, that 2015 Cubs team Theo is putting together that danny is so excited about? The Sox have that team right now. Wouldn't a real Sox fan know that?

both Terry and Dan are ALWAYS overly enthusiastic about the Cubs. I think that's what proves they aren't fans.

The Cubs are shooting to be the Royals in every sense of the word. They'll try their prospects, then figure out they need to pay big money for pitching by 2017.

 They tried to pay Anibal Sanchez and he said no and then they paid Edwin Jackson. It seems like they are trying to address the pitching problems. Should the Cubs have paid Grienke 180M?

He should get a 25 game suspension. If a steroid suspension is 50 games roid rage should be half.

5 games. Sorry Sox fans. Jerry doesn't have any pull in the Florida State League.
