When a San Diego fan gets stabbed by a Dodger's fan outside Chavez Ravine it will be because actions have consequences. CQ had a choice. Nobody forced CQ to charge the mound. Greinke hitting him once didn't force him to. Greinke hitting him twice didn't force him to. Greinke hitting him a third time didn't force him to. Greinke yelling something didn't force him to. Sucks for more people than just Greinke that CQ wasn't the better man and decided violence was a good solution to a problem.

There comes a time where enough is enough. For CQ, it was last night. Grienke could have easily been the better man and shut up, or stopped hitting CQ.

There are also unwritten rules, codes, of the game. This is not a vacuum. You are a sports fan, you should know that there are other factors at play here than just "violence, or no violence"

Im arguing for charging the mound in another thread right now.

I just think CQ is a douche in general and if the blame is between he and Greinke, Id put it on him.

BTW, I dont think there is really any blame to go on anyone here.

It was an accident. Its not like CQ went out there and tried to injure his shoulder.

These guys are both veterans, they knew at some point that this was probably going to happen.

You reap what you sew. Greinke hit a guy, and got charged. CQ will most certainly get docked a few games. An injury could happen to either guy outside of a brawl, thats just bad luck and nothing more.

Neither guy is innocent here.
