The Roenick move had to be made. The relationship was deteriorated beyond repair. First of all, I don't know if he did or not, but there was a lot of talk of him embellishing his injuries. We know he got Sutter fired. I know he wanted to stay in Chicago, but it was for the best that they traded him.

Belfour is pretty much the same. He certainly had a career resurgence, but the move needed to be made.
