I haven't had this much fun watching a Cubs season since '08 when they were great. It only took them 3 games to become funbad. Some notable favorites:

Brent Lillibridge, we hardly knew ye. Designated for assignment by the Cubs today. Relievers Kevin Gregg & Kameron Lee also join the Cubs' bullpen, while 2B Darwin Barney has been activated from the DL. Utility IF Cody Ransom, DFA'd by the Padres Saturday, is expected to join the Cub roster as soon as tonight. More likely tomorrow.

Yeah Takahashi was the 2nd awful Japanese pitcher in the Cubs bullpen. I think they are bringing in Hideki Irabu for a workout too.
