Not just the conspiracy folks--everyone has an idea of who it is. Some want an NRA nut, others want a left wing-Weatherman type. Some want a tax protester, others want a loon who has been tossed off welfare. No one will be satisfied with who it finally is unless it is a nutjob middle east terrorist. My theory is it is just a crazy person who wants to see his handiwork on the news for a week straight, just like happened with Newtown. Until I hear of the "dark skinned male" picture, I would have placed bets on middle aged white guy who lost his job. Might still be. Have to wait to see him. Remember the Saudi exchange student from the night of the bombing? That burned out fast. Same thing might happen here.

Good observation, hoot. Everyone will be just fine with a Muslim. Othewise, the gov had something to do with it...

Basically you have both set up a system where any questioning of the government possibly being involved is crazy.

I have no narrative. I have no idea what happened. None of us do. But when people post stuff like "they are going to say it was an NRA guy so they can take away our guns" or "The gov is going to say it was a _____, which is complete bullshit" they've just laid the groundwork for this to be a cover up.

Does the gov lie about everything? Is there no way that the final report about this will be true? How do we make that determination? From blogs? Conspiracy sites?

i'm just trying to figure out how "truth" is determined by some when something like this occurs...
