If he's mildly inconvenienced that is an OH WELL situation, but its not.

Being mistakenly called Karl, when your name is Ken is mildly inconvenienced.

Being cited as a possible terrorist who just killed people including an 8 year old child= More than a minor inconvenience.

A Muslim woman in Boston says that she was attacked by a white man on on Wednesday morning because he was apparently enraged by the Boston Marathon bombings and convinced, despite a lack of evidence, that the perpetrators were Muslim.

Heba Abolaban told Malden Patch that she and her friend, who were both wearing hijabs, were walking on Commercial Street with their children when a white male in his thirties punched her in her left shoulder.

“He was screaming ‘Fuck you Muslims! You are terrorists! I hate you! You are involved in the Boston explosions! Fuck you!’” she recalled. “Oh my lord, I was extremely shocked.”


“I did not say anything to him,” she added. “Not even that we aren’t terrorists… he was so aggressive.”

After about two minutes of confrontation, the man left and Abolaban called her husband and police.

She said the police were “kind and helpful,” but no arrests had been made.

The attack came the same day that CNN falsely reported that a “dark-skinned male” had been arrested in connection to the Boston Marathon bombings, and the day before the The New York Post published a photo of a “person of interest” with dark skin — who turned out to be Moroccan-American high school track runner.

Since Tuesday, two police officers have been stationed outside the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, the city’s largest mosque. Wayland Police Chief Robert Irving has also offered additional support to the Islamic Center of Boston.

“We do increase our presence there, mostly just for the comfort of the people that go there,” Irving told Patch on Wednesday. “It reminds me of after 9/11, I did the same thing. I want to make sure they understand we’ll be extra vigilant and make sure their people and property are safe.”

Hear a very good interview today with 2 Muslim Americans regarding the bombing. They both said one of their initial reactions was "please don't let the bombers be muslim". Both were born and raised in America.

Those kids were in grave danger. Feel bad for both of them. It was by the grace of God that they weren't killed by some Boston vigilante.

I'm sure some were trying to hunt him down as soon as the pictures surfaced. Even more so when the FBI distributed them. Cuz there were media reports that it was someone in a white hat and black bag. Then even more people found out this morning with the Post article.

Can't do anything about the internet. You just can't. That just spreads. And it's not illegal. Even if you get the source, it's out there.

You know what pisses me off, though? That the FBI couldn't find him by his face. That they had to distribute it to agencies which made it more credible to vigilantes. They knew it would be leaked to a mainstream media outlet and the kid would be in even more jeopardy than he already was. That's why they rushed to clear him today. But there were still several hours that he was vulnerable

I know they just had a face. No name. No address. No number. So what? YOU'RE THE GOD DAMN FBI. You should be able to find a local Boston kid with just the picture of his face. Christ, ABC found from his facebook or twitter.
