You're probably right.

But I swear on everything that I know.... the first time I heard Shep, I didn't know it was Fox. I just thought "man this dude is good and doesn't fuck around." I later learned he was on Fox and was supposedly an atypical Fox contributor. If I had to pick one anchorman in America, it would be the Shepster.

Oh no doubt. That someone would think a person's sexual orientation would have an effect on their ability to report the news is asinine.

Yesterday his mug appeared out of nowhere on the NBC News special coverage when the Governor was speaking after they apprehended the kid. It was pretty funny. Popped his head in talking to someone else, looked at the camera and sheepishly backed out of the frame.
