Tried a 24 oz prime rib in my youth and finished about 75 percent. Then I slept for three days like a python digesting a deer.

My brother cold be a professional eater if he wanted to.

He had the 5 Lb steak (and you have to eat the potato and all the grizzle, too) record at Allgauer's Grill for years.

He also polished off the 5 Lb. steak burrito at a place up in New Haven, MI, and got on their wall.

On a drunken moneypile dare at a party, when we were in our 20's, he ate 10 cans of tuna, 2 whole raw onions, and a jar of pickles.

Did he ever try 50 eggs like Cool Hand Luke?

He could've just mixed it into tuna salad.

I think that was part of the joke. He ate the onion like an apple and even drank all of the pickle juice.

He must be a hit w/ the ladies.

So with the exception of Q Bov alleged bottomless pit freak brother who married a really hot rich blonde chick with fake tatas, nobody else has ventured past the 30 oz limit?

Ironically as I posted this Man v Food was taking the 48 Oz dare at Shulas and he knocked it down.

I didnt go to Mortons knowing I was going for this thing, but when I saw it and the thought of anyone else ever eating more than that, is kinda gross.

If you do attempt such a thing, don't starve yourself before hand. Eat normally.

36 oz porterhouse at a steakhouse in Texas. No problem, with a baked potato and salad bar.

Did you go in prepared? Knowing the challenge awaited and you didnt eat for the day?

Do vegans have contests with like pounds of soybeans, or a tofu turkey?

I'm being relatively serious with that question actually.

My guess is that place would be THE BIG TEXAN. Had these bill boards everywhere. At some point they had to start putting on the sign that you had to eat it all in an hour.
