According to Harry, he and Justin should be feeling fine right now.

Congrats, Justin on your upcoming nuptials.

Since we have your attention, I believe:

-J. Hood should have a show. He clearly has a strong base of active listners.

-Ben Finfer would be an excellent co-host. Diamond in the rough.

-Maybe you have no power here, but give us a local show in the former DP hour. I will be extremely upset if we are fed some national boring radio in this slot.

-It's laughed about, but I think Carmen does offer the best NBA analysis in the group.

-Don't put JD back on the Bears beat. Yes, he's developed solid relationships in the Bears organizations and that adds value to the station, but in my opinion, he's more valuable as an on-air host. A good listen.

Congrats on your upcoming marriage, my friend!!

Let's see. You don't want JD to go back to the Bears. You want Finfer and Hood to get more time and you like Carmen.

There is not enough show time for all of these guys. LOL.

I agree with much of what you said, except...

J Hood > Carmen

... and it's not even close.

There would be if his 3rd wish came true (local during 12-3). We all know it's highly unlikely, but there would be time for everyone under that scenario.

I love local radio but I don't think there is enough talent right now to fill up two stations.

I think JD does a good job as host and Bears beat reporter - I just hope they're not spreading him to thin this Fall.

Unlike when Silvy was the Bears beat reporter, and Carm was the Bulls beat reporter - it's not like the night time show is getting pre-empted by Sox/Bulls broadcasts to give JD a breather.

Well, seeing as how the Score is pretty devoid of talent...

What is with all this JD love? I think he does a great job as the Bears reporter but as a host I find him a little boring.

Count me in for JD love. He's one of the few guys at WMVP besides for Hood that knows a lot about Hip Hop and "urban culture". Which is funny to me every time I see the "JD is a racist" thread.......

Your credibility is questionable. Look at the list of women you'd do.

Hey, who wouldn't want a 3 some of Pokey Chatman and Wanda Sykes, with Oprah holding the camera?

Count me in also for the JD love. He's very well spoken for his age. Generally knows how to keep the conversation flowing. He's versatile in his sports knowledge. And one of his greatest Chicago sports moments is the 1995 Northwestern Rose Bowl year... what could be wrong with that?

Who's gonna be the new Bears beat guy Deep? Somebody already there or they gonna hire somebody. Will Hood be sticking his mic in Lovie's face?

It's getting late in the game. Camp starts in a couple weeks.

They just signed DeFranco and JD to new contracts. So they probably gave them host money and wouldn't want to waste that on JD to cover the Bears. That's probably a lower paying job.

JD knows his sports and is great host with bright future. He did a great job as Bears reporter which vaulted him into the AM1000 spotlight. I also know Mac is big supporter of JD and he thinks he has really bright future as well.

As far as JC goes I know it has been stated in other post that Chicago is just a stepping stone for JC. My dealing with him tells me otherwise, I believe JC is here to stay and not viewing this as path back to Flagship for larger role.

Pandering to be a weekly guest on THE SHOW already? ;) I'm sure it's already locked and loaded.

I wanted it but they said you have to be over 5 feet to interview football players

Is it Scot (with one T)???

What is the real back story with him and the MJH EP position?
