I don't know what B&B said that they don't always say but Hawk started it all by saying "I got a call [or text I forget which he said] from a friend who said 'B&B were at it again'" and then he went into the rest of his rant which was really just the 4-5 lines I posted earlier. But no explanation what his beef was about, just a couple cheap shots.

I know Sox nation will never admit/agree that this guy costs them at the gate, because they have done surveys, but even talking with 2 Sox fans this morning, both of them told me they cant stand Hawk. These are season ticket holder, long time Sox fans and they have told me they cant stand watching their own games because of Hawk. So, why would an average fan even garner slight interest in a TV broadcast which promotes the team.

This has been an issue for years, not sure why Hawk can't just be a good guy on the air. Is it really that hard to be a good guy for him?

And Jerry had his sit down with Hawk and no more Umpire bashing! Sad that it took the owner to explain to a grown man all the reasons why Hawks ump bashing was a bad thing for the team.

I do. Im not a Sox fan though.

But there is still a HUGE Pro Hawk contingent. Every time he goes nuts the reaction is about 50/50 positive negative on social networking.

I think he's ridiculous when he goes nuts. And the tired old cliches are a bit much. He's like a doll where you pull the string and he says seven different things. But one thing I disagree with a lot of people about is when the Sox are getting pasted and he just shuts the fuck up. I like that a lot. What is there to say? I don't want a couple guys giggling and talking about Buffalo Tom's best album when my team is losing 10-2 in the sixth.
