I thought I heard that one of the past couple games RV was sitting him against a lefty? That would be fine to do and let him clear without embarrassment.

Unfortunately, the Indians are scheduled to start righties in Zach McAllister tonight, weather permitting, and Corey Kluber tomorrow afternoon. The Rays are scheduled to start Jeremy Hellickson Thursday night, Roberto Hernandez (the former Fausto Carmona) Friday night & lefty Matt Moore (not the Dolphins' QB) Saturday this weekend with the White Sox.

So he'll be about 2-17 with 11 Ks before they sit him against Moore. Wonderful.

Another Super Poopy at bat might have cost him the triple digit BA.

It's no sure thing Dunn sits vs. Moore over the weekend. He should, but I don't fill out the White Sox lineup card.

Brian Anderson in 2006 was a better hitter. I don't know what happened to this guy, but he's pretty much an automatic out. Just awful.

Frank, are you referring to Brian Anderson, the voice of the Brewers on FOX Sports Wisconsin or the former White Sox CF who tried to make the transition to pitching in the Royals' farm system? That's the Brian you're referring.

:? Really, SHARK?

I was referring to "the former White Sox CF who tried to make the transition to pitching in the Royals' farm system" but the Brewers guy could probably get up there and bat .100 too.

Are you referring to the Frank Coztansa of the Chicago Sports Fan Message Board who also sells lightbulbs and supplies any board member who needs one with a shopping bag full of toothbrushes or are you talking about Frank Costansa from the TV show Seinfeld that originally aired on NBC that is syndicated to this day on multiple network outlets?

SHARK is fucking with all of us. He's Keyser Soze (the good one, not the Sox fan)

At least BA could run and field. It always seems to boil down to the "making contact" problem so many young guys have.

I remember when The SCORE replaced ESPN Radio as the White Sox flagship in 2006, Chris Rongey's postgame shows back then got plenty of calls from Sox fans wanting to see Brian Anderson playing CF and Ozzie kept plugging Rob Mackowiak in there despite his lack of range. From the little I saw, Anderson simply couldn't hit in the limited time Ozzie bothered to play him.

As for Mackowiak, the plan was for him to play him at 3B & 2B to give Joe Crede & Tadahito Iguchi (remember him, Sox fans?) breathers from the lineup not necessarily play Rob in CF as much as Ozzie did that '06 season. Needless to say, that never came to fruition back then.

I'm gonna let you in on a little scouting secret I have. If a player can't make contact in college (BA, Borchard, Daellero, Mitchell, on and on), he's not going to "learn" how to do it in the minors.

SHARK, I'm no mathematician, but if he went 2-17 he would actually raise his batting average.

Hey Kirkwood, you got ripped off by this PROFESSIONAL WEBSITE that's taking it to twitter and likely to usurp all the credit for it.... in the noble pursuit of getting ad money from the sun times and goldcoasttickets.com! >> http://chicagosidesports.com/quick-hits ... n-o-meter/
