I doubt there is any jealousy. It's more like Carmen is wearing Mac's old number (like Hamptons #99) and it should have been retired. I think he see's Carmen as unworthy of sitting in his chair.

I think its more manly to eat a well done steak than the soft meat that a baby could gum when it is rare.
