Dude, when are you up in the hollar next week?

Hell I never know. My shop is in crystal lake but I'm usually only there when I need to restock my truck or drop off paperwork. I never know where I'll be from even 8a to 10a. I just end up where dispatch sends me.
In fact I know I'm starting in huntley tomorrow at 8 and that I got 5 more jobs after that but I don't know where they're at.

A couple things here.
Aldi food isn't crappy. Ground beef is ground beef no matter where you get it. Lunchmeat is lunchmeat no matter where you get it. Wheat bread, chicken breast, it doesn't matter whether u buy it at aldi or you overspend at dominicks. Jorr should thank you for proving his point that the stupid fall for advertising, thinking that dominicks bread is somehow superior to aldi. Dumbass.

.

We get what we both like and what we like individually. If there is something I like and want, my wife is not going to refrain from buying it because she doesn't care for it. That would be selfish and ignorant. Aldi products suck, thats why they are so cheap. Ground beef is all the same....OMG don't you know there are several grades of ground beef and the amount of fat varies greatly between grades? I don't eat Dominics or Jewel bread either though, as you suggest because that sucks too....My God you are white trash.

Mercy. 80/20 is the same at aldi as it is at Dominicks or anywhere else.
The 90/10 is the same at aldi as it is anywhere else.
What part of "I buy diet coke because it's the best tasting diet" did you misunderstand? I know you're confused on basic math and the seasons our planet experiences but that was pretty basic even for a child to understand. Again, diet coke is the best tasting... but I also like Diet Mt. Dew (which we do buy from time to time, just like Diet Dr. Pepper or Diet 7up which is another favorite of mine.)

But what really takes the cake, I mean REALLY takes it, is an asshole who got married on a HORSE calling someone else white trash. It's obvious that you completely lack self awareness but why must you prove it every single goddamn day?

Did you ever consider that Aldi's sells different grades of ground beef? They do! I have seen it with my own eyes! They even have it frozen if you would prefer it that way for your camping trip.

And I don't think you mean grades because they don't sell USDA Prime ground beef at Domincks or Jewel.

I dont want to start a whole racial thing here and certainly its not the same as calling a Hispanic person a slur or a black person the N word, but its certainly in the ballpark.

Yeah, but it's a term I've never heard a black person use. It's something people in Winnetka call people in Round Lake Beach.

Here's an example of terrible advertising. I drove to work today, and on the score I heard a commercial for Elmhurst Hospital's state of the art ER.

First of all, why would any kind of advertisement sway me in what ER I want to go to? If I am in need of an ER, I'm going to the closest one, and not one I heard a commercial for on AM radio. If I ever need an ambulance to take me somewhere, I am not going to insist they drive the extra 15 miles from my home so I can go to Elmhurst Hospital's ER.

Second of all, why do hospital's even advertise at all? Nobody ever wants to go to a hospital. Are they trying to encourage repeat business? Seems kinda silly to me. I guess I can understand wanting to feature some state of the art cancer stuff, or something groundbreaking, but advertising your ER is just dumb.

Mostly agree, DB, but in this day and age a lot of people have access to ONLY the ER because of no insurance, so maybe that's why

It depends how far the stretch of advertising goes in your mind.

For example, you said you drove past a building and saw that it was a grocery store. I imagine there was a sign or a name on the front of that building, right? Perhaps there were shopping carts in the parking lot. Maybe you saw people walking out of the building with milk, eggs, etc. You then made the connection that "Hey, I can probably buy food there."

Advertising doesn't just have to be commercials on TV. Think about it.

It's got nothing to do with racism. It's a matter of being trashy and white. This is a guy who posted about having a couch that smelled of urine and never having had a new couch, but having stolen one once  . A guy who has shown he is just a low class/no class loser and it has little to do with shopping at Aldi for cheap lousy food.

His pathetic attempt to connect being married in Red rock canyon outside Las Vegas while on a horseback ride through the canyon to being white trash is silly. But there is really of substance to use so I guess thats all he could come up with. But while he's sitting on his stolen piss stained couch eating Aldi food, I'll go on laughing  at his white trash ass.

I plan to stop at Aldi on the way home tonite to get some food and snacks for tomorrow's tailgate at the Cell. I'll probably get a bottle of wine for the lady as well. I've got some beer left from last weekend so I don't need to buy beer at Aldi though I have before and their Corona knockoff is actually not that bad.

Steve, you are more than welcome to come by tomorrow and enjoy some of our "sucky" products with us. We'll be in the lots off of Pershing/37th St. I will also be more than happy to punch you in the ovaries afterwards. I highly doubt you will show your ugly mug though. Just as you refuse you answer my question about 2 being greater than 5, and Darkside's question about the seasons because you are a chickenshit loser.

If somebody of your character is calling me white trash, I must be doing something right. It would be much more of an insult to me if I was being compared to you rather than insulted by you.

Oh and just for the record, Steve in Elmhurst, getting married-- for the second time-- on a horse in the outdoors is closer to "white trash" than consuming anything sold at Aldi is.

See you tomorrow!!

First off, I don't visit the cell very often. If the Sox had a team that I found interesting and worthy of attention, I might go see a few games. In 2005, I went to several games, including a playoff game. But they are not very good or interesting to me and if they were, I certainly wouldn't be interested in sharing in tailgate fare that would be anything but desireable.

As far as getting married in Red Rock canyon-that was about having a ceremony that was just for us. One that provided us with outstanding photographs (Red Rock canyon and all the colors that are present at sunset is spectacular). We had a 2nd ceremony with a big reception at the club, where friends and family were included and that was a very traditional ceremony.

Either you have me confused with someone else or you misunderstood a joke. My couches are not "piss stained".
Low class. That's beautiful Steve. The guy who "pretended" to be a racist calling someone else low class is yet another example of your complete and total lack of self awareness. Thank you for demonstrating that for a second consecutive day, proving my hypothesis that you must prove to us every day how much you do lack that self awareness.

You can laugh at me all you want, painter steve, about being low class. While you laugh about a fictitious stolen couch scenario, I'll laugh at your website that has stolen pictures claiming to be your work and the spelling errors that required the CSFMB to point out to you.

So you go ahead and buy your overpriced food because you think that breakfast cereal at a high priced store is different from breakfast cereal at a lower priced store, and prove JORR right that the weak minded have opinions that are affected by the silly jingles they hear on TV or the radio. Though we don't need you to prove that you're weak minded any longer. We've heard enough of your thoughts on the radio, calls which somehow in your mind equate with celebrity.

Elmhurst Steve, master of the paint brush, man who sacrificed his most valuable possession, his reputation, for a simple steak, calling others whom he's never met white trash. Now that, my friend, is pathetic.

I am honored to be white trash in your eyes.

There is no way Steve is foolish enough to believe that name brands are much different from generic.

I mean, no one is that dumb. They print the ingredients right on the label.

In Steve's defense in this scenario, he has demonstrated on more than one occasion here just how fucking stupid he is. He probably really does think that Cherrio's are better than "Circus O's" or whatever the generic brand is.

You'd be surprised then.

And to the point of this thread, with two sons, lots of my daily activities are driven by advertising. I have a wife that is very often label conscious & well lets just say today I'll be in an area where I can get Culver's for lunch.

We all watch/listen sports & sports radio, driven/sponsored by advertising, right?!? And post on a message board currently touting a banner ad for Zico Coconut water, no doubt.

--- and get 'em Darko
