I would think that anything over the Score's airwaves is the Score's property. They probably don't have to pay royalties.

Like I said, the real problem is that the Score has a culture of shitting all over everyone who worked there who wasn't at the cool kids' table (so basically Dan Zampillo, whom I have never heard but is still spoken of in reverent tones on a fairly regular basis, and Goff), so how can they promote a Best of the Score show when all these guys have been trashed with regularity? It would have to be best of HFC/B&B, pretty much.

Whereas television has channels dedicated to rerunning hit programming, I don't think radio could (or would) fare as well. If it was so good, why was it cancelled? And, specifically to radio, what if the old stuff is better than what is being played now?

While I recognize the potential novelty to newer listeners I can't see any long-term upside or even a good short-term return on playing the best of North, Murphy, or even Tom Shaer.

Not a whole station, just a show, maybe four hours once a week. They have done this in the past as have other stations.
