if Long was such a hidden talent, why wasn't his college coach looking to trade up to get this "future left tackle", "could have been #1 player in the draft", "greatest athletic specimen for a lineman in 12 years?"

I'm not as smart as you when it comes to these things but I've always felt you only draft Tackles in the 1st round. Everything else you look for in the middle rounds. Reaching on a player that doesn't have a position is weird to me.

Ironically, 2 years of Bears drafts have been nothing like what Emery did in ATL, which he oiften used as an example of how he built a team.
