If I ever get to meet you at a remote or something, I can then add you to the "brush with fame" thread  .

So J, who was hotter? Young Jiggetts or Stacey Baca? I have to say Baca sometimes looks a little weird to me but she looked pretty good last night.

I'd give the nod to young Jiggetts though. She's better looking than I thought.

You, however, are not.

Be honest, you had the polo, glasses, unshaven look going but were you wearing pants? You didn't mention it. So, I'm guessing no - you went straight from CSFMB to the street.

Don't listen to him. I think you're absolutely adorable.

By chance are you a major league baseball player?

No, you should listen to me.

I suggest not going out in public any more or requesting TV stations to put an orange blob over your face to cover it. I think my TV has an NSJ image burned into it.

No offense meant, of course.

I could see Borat throwing dollar bills at this couple.

Eddie Vedder could get a new song out of this as well . "An elderly women behind a counter at a Panera Bread" ....

NSJ , has a little "Rip Taylor" in him with that purple shirt on...

Love child please.......

Yep. My kids ran over there last night to gawk and hang out. I told them they better not cause a gawkers delay by standing in the middle of the street. As I drove by this morning, groups of women appeared to be in full gawk looking at the boarded up window.

Me too! I was in this balance-a-book-on-your-head relay race, but I couldn't do it, so I just held it on my head. This was back in 1994. It's no Dan Bernstein with Harry Caray, but that was my local television experience.

Wow NSJ, that was really scary. You looked cool on the news though. I think the picture is sad...I feel sorry for her.

Now that everybody is ok though, I must say..

Hey Doug...LOOK! A cell phone picture with people IN the parking lot! :P

Sorry, couldn't resist. I tease because I love. :D

They decided to revoke her drivers license. Unfortunately this woman has issues determining between the gas pedal and the brake pedal as she was in a similar accident LAST MONTH.

To borrow a phrase from Grid, you're a little slow on the uptake there Coach.
A little too much fine whiskey last evening, perhaps?

Just playing Coach, add it to the list of things about which you and I are on the same page.
I don't mind your company in the least. Next time you bring the booze.

It's unfortunate that these tragedies will continue to occur and action can only be taken AFTER someone does something tragic. Licensing tests do not determine one's fitness to drive. There are people who must have walkers to get around who have passed the driving test in Illinois. There are people (my mother) who could hardly see due to macular degeneration, but passed her state's vision test. (Don't worry, she's not driving. I took her car away from her.). For action to be taken before crashes happen, we would need much, MUCH tougher driving tests for the elderly and we need doctors to certify everyone as being fit to drive. In budget-strapped states like Illinois, conducting longer and more extensive driving tests is an expensive proposition requiring significantly more staff. Who among you would pay more in taxes for tougher driving tests to better weed out bad drivers? And as I said, in this area, Illinois may already be the best in the nation at least for annual test requirements. Doctors don't want to be put on the hook for making determinations about fitness to drive and AARP and libertarian driving groups (like the National Motorists Association) resist any proposals that restrict the driving privileges of anyone, including the elderly. So get used to these kinds of tragic stories. Over the next 20 years, we will hear about more and more of these as the population bubble moves into senior citizen status and we all live longer and more people are driving longer than they should.

You can be 90 and still driving, but you better not be driving while talking on a cell phone, because that would be dangerous.

Someone other than NSJ.
Before NSJ.
I am offering as much proof as you did with your "2 other ladies who post claim", just my word. I am as confident in the truthfulness of my statement as you are with yours. All I can say is, I have seen this person on the tube and I'll leave it at that.

I should have never said anything to begin with, I apologeye to you sir and to the mystery TV star.
