I admittedly haven't watched as much NBA this year as in the past, but for you NBA guys... does it look like Lebron has lost half a step and a few inches from the vertical? He's only 28, but on a couple breakaways today and the past couple games, he just didn't run away from everyone and destroy the rim like I remember. He may have just been taking it easy, though.

Probably taking it easy. He's easily playing the best basketball of his career, and physically I haven't noticed a dropoff, but I haven't really scrutinized it either.

Golden State looking like contenders to come out of the West now.

The difference is that Danilo Gallinari is out and Kenneth Faried has been a non-factor in the series. This is one of those examples of a team that could just run everyone out of the gym in the regular season, but they don't have a real superstar player.

Even after Lee going out what has kept the Warriors in it is Stephen Curry's shooting and their team defense. The Nuggets just don't play good enough defense and Wilson Chandler isn't killing them like he killed the Bulls.

However, the Warriors will likely lose to the Spurs in 5 or 6 games. The Spurs are fundamentally sound. They rebound, defend and it seems like everyone on their team can make shots. It's going to be hard to match up with Duncan and Splitter without Lee. The only wild card factor would be if the Warriors can score over 100 points they probably win those games.
