I'm addicted to the New networks now. CNN started hitting the FBI tonight. They know what's out there on the interent. They'll, hopefully, get their own sources and confirm some of this stuff.

It's coming everybody. As far as mainstream media getting on the important stuff.

I'm worried that the government controls these networks. Afterall, the FCC is a government agency. Don't forget that.

MSNBC is the best of the three in my opinion. CNN dropped big time after what they did in the last week. Idiot reporters working there.

If you notice, that one guy who fucked up the arrest story is no longer reporting for CNN on this event. What's his name? I think they suspended him. No other reason for him to all of a sudden be off the story.

I will say this, that link Beardown provided a few pages back sure is intriguing. No matter what you believe, it IS intriguing.

I strongly urge checking it out, but be warned that a few of the pictures are quite graphic.

Henneberry said it all started when he had noticed two of the boat's roller pads had fallen to the ground. So when the police gave the OK to go out again after being 'in lockdown' in Watertown all day Friday, Henneberry went out to check the pads.

As an aside, this guy is an idiot in my opinion. He's damn lucky he didn't get himself and members of his family killed. Known deadly suspects loose in the area + my boat has obviously been messed with = hide in the basement and call the cops, not let's get a stepladder and check it out. Hopefully that was just a bad decision made under the stress of a lockdown, but that just seems like a really, really bad decision.

Yep. John King. That's the guy. Haven't seen him the last two or three days after his fuck up. Can't be a coincidence. He got suspended. He was the main guy on this story right after it happened. Now he's gone?

I heard he called it "the rough" at The Masters instead of "the second cut," so they had no choice but to suspend him.

Wow. Rachel Madow took on the conspiracy theory people to open her show. Saying it's all bullshit.

Look, the extreme is bullshit. Where it's said that the government did this. But there is some coverup here. Maybe they were CIA or FBI that turned on them. Maybe they were setting them up all along. Maybe they turned on them some where along the way. Maybe it was a sting where they thought they'd have an arrest at the marathon with these guys helping them and they double crossed them. Maybe something else.

But there are lies here. There is some type of cover up. Something ain't right.

It's somewhere in the middle. You can't believe the extreme conspiracy and you also can't believe what the FEDS are saying.

Or maybe it's as simple as the FBI fucked up and they should have known about these guys. They certainly were trying to cover that up before it was exposed that they were aware of the older brother. The FBI asking for help from the public was bullshit. They knew who they were when they did that.

Rachel Madow was saying it's sick and dangerous that the fringe crazies are out there with nonsense to rile up people. It's also dangerous for mainstream media to report everything they're told by government authorities as fact and never question anything.

I believe if they started with Taylor Swift, this whole standoff could have been avoided.

The whole scene at the boat doesn't make a bit of sense.

There were two separate shootouts. They were covered live by reporters. Everybody heard it. There's also video of it. There's millions of tweets about. Confirmation from the Chief and others.

But now apparently he never had a gun while in the boat. It's possible he never had a gun at any point for the entirety of the ordeal.

That boat was riddled with bullet holes. So at that point, they obviously didn't seem to care if he was taken alive or dead.

At some point they changed tactics and went with the flash bang stuff.

It was only after they threatened to blare Nickelback over that huge sound machine thingy, that he finally gave up.

This just reminded me of something...
They said he killed the cop to get a gun. They failed to get the gun, it has some kind of holster that required a specific way to remove it and they didn't get the gun so they fled.
Now, where did they get that gun in the next 24 hours?

They already had guns, from what I heard. Maybe they wanted more?

Incorrect. Yesterday they said that the older brother had a gun, they needed to get a gun for the younger brother, and that was the motivation for killing the MIT cop. They snuck up on him in his car to get a gun for the younger brother... it's in here somewhere. The younger guy didn't have one, they needed one, didn't get it.

For those who've speculated that suspect one had been in concert with the FBI at one point, you might find this story on Muslim FBI informants to be interesting:

Quote:
Ever since 9/11, counterterrorism has been the FBI's No. 1 priority, consuming the lion's share of its budget—$3.3 billion, compared to $2.6 billion for organized crime—and much of the attention of field agents and a massive, nationwide network of informants. After years of emphasizing informant recruiting as a key task for its agents, the bureau now maintains a roster of 15,000 spies—many of them tasked, as Hussain was, with infiltrating Muslim communities in the United States. In addition, for every informant officially listed in the bureau's records, there are as many as three unofficial ones, according to one former high-level FBI official, known in bureau parlance as "hip pockets."

The bureau now maintains a roster of 15,000 spies, some paid as much as $100,000 per case, many of them tasked with infiltrating Muslim communities in the United States.
The informants could be doctors, clerks, imams. Some might not even consider themselves informants. But the FBI regularly taps all of them as part of a domestic intelligence apparatus whose only historical peer might be COINTELPRO, the program the bureau ran from the '50s to the '70s to discredit and marginalize organizations ranging from the Ku Klux Klan to civil-rights and protest groups.

Throughout the FBI’s history, informant numbers have been closely guarded secrets. Periodically, however, the bureau has released those figures. A Senate oversight committee in 1975 found the FBI had 1,500 informants. In 1980, officials disclosed there were 2,800. Six years later, following the FBI’s push into drugs and organized crime, the number of bureau informants ballooned to 6,000, the Los Angeles Times reported in 1986. And according to the FBI, the number grew significantly after 9/11. In its fiscal year 2008 budget authorization request, the FBI disclosed that it it had been been working under a November 2004 presidential directive demanding an increase in "human source development and management," and that it needed $12.7 million for a program to keep tabs on its spy network and create software to track and manage informants.

I would almost guarantee that at least one poster on this site is snooping on behalf of such channels.

For no real reason other than it would be foolish not to take advantage of the simplicity and utility of gauging and possibly manipulating yet another feeder audience, I would guess.

We speak on so many different subjects here, I would almost guarantee some of this stuff shows up as some form of "chatter" or even popular opinion.

That's just crazy talk, Q. By all means, keep the discussion going.

I don't know man. That comes off as a bit...paranoid. I could see perhaps political boards, or perhaps boards dedicated to or with frequent daily mention of "jihad" or other similar things but not here. There's thousands of websites like this one.
