Just saying....if he grew up Catholic, this conclusion he has come up with about homosexuals not being capable of being Christian, would be understandable. If you knew the Church would not marry them, nor allow them as confirmed members because the Church considers them to be living in sin, it's reasonable. I'm not supporting the Catholic Church as much as trying to walk a few steps in Broussard's shoes before judging him. He hasn't done anything to discriminate against gays. He hasn't been intolerant of them. He just doesn't agree with their lifestyle. A little tolerance for a difference of opinion might be in order.

Because I'm not someone who is there for the religious purpose, I can sit back and observe. I think it drives Kimberly nuts that I don't really participate, but she gets it. I can follow along on the whole "stand up, sit down" thing. I've just been to enough Catholic services that I don't really feel singled out by not participating.

Every Protestant service I've ever been to, I've felt that people look down at me because I'm not rambling through the Lord's Prayer or singing along to the hymns.

There's another poster who likes to post ratings for a different kind of.....service. His name isn't POPPing to mind. Can't quite put my finger on it.

But unless he's making statements when players are caught cheating or living with their girlfriends, he should probably keep this to himself. Christians aren't supposed to pick and choose which sins they think are great or small. Some do....but they aren't supposed to.

Also, Christians are supposed to leave it up to Christ on who is and is not a Christian. But....again......that doesn't seem to happen so much these days...
