Yep, someone needs to change the date on this thread AGAIN, as the Sux have ZERO chance at a post-season in 2013.With Flowers striking out at a 32% clip and hitting just .185 he is certainly a lesser offensive player....on a team already lacking offensively. Konerko is definitely past his prime. Dunn's average is below .140 and he's striking out at a 38% clip. While Gillaspie has a good average, he lacks pop. Meanwhile the Tigers are getting the kind of performances from their players they expected and didn't get last season and have added to an already good team. The Royals are much improved as are the Indians and even the Twins are better than the Sux. Like I said....time to change the thread title.....again.

Really? Explain how you think they can contend for a wildcard or the division. Do you really think they can overcome a Tigers team that is an even better team than the one that beat them last season, while the Sox are a weaker team. Do you not realize that there are at least a half dozen teams that will beat them out for the 2 wild card spots? There is no doubt that you don't want to agree with me about the Sox not making the post season. You want to keep the faith. But it just makes you look foolish.
