While I guess you cant piss on any amount of cash going to help sick kids out, somehow I just dont think that a bunch of well heeled folks were going to fall over themselves buying baby gifts for them. How about maybe something like "in lieu of gifts, Kanye , George Bush and I are going to start it off by donating 100k and hope our friends and family can add substantially to that total. "That would ring more sincere and less publicity stunty in my opinion.

I dont mean to vilify them. I just think that telling all their rich friends to send money to a hospital while they will need to hire someone to count all the cash this baby will be making for them is disingenuous.

Think about the cash this infant will generate for them: First pics in People mag, first TV interview, brand new reality spinoff that she wont have to split cash with the sisters, endorsement deals to lose the baby weight....
