Tried it at World of Beer. Pretty good, tastes like root beer. The 10% sneaks up on ya.

This is good stuff. I went looking for it at Binny's a couple months ago, but they said the company that makes it isn't even bottling it yet. You can only get it in kegs.

They must have gotten their shit together. I'll have to look around again. This is the Small Town Brewing Root Beer you saw, right?

Not sure. Just noticed that it was root beer with alcohol content.

I don't think it was Small Town. Went on their website (which is awful) and there doesn't seem to be any indication they've started bottling it. They need to get on that ASAP.

I think the brand at Gene's might have been Sprecher's.

Bought a 4 pack of the Sprechers Hard Root Beer. Possibly the sweetest flavored "alcoholic" beer I've ever tasted. Wouldn't buy it again. If I'm going to drink something, I'd want a big ABV. I would love to try the stuff from Small Town that Biggie was talking about. The Binnys blog said they offer a 10 and a 20 percent ABV available in kegs only right now with packaged later on in the year.
