Kitchen Nightmares has just become so outrageous where I think they just seek out the dumbest restaurant owners with the most fucked up families, and don't really care what the outcome is. It is entertaining on a weekend afternoon though when nothing else is on.

I dig the BBC version of Kitchen Nightmares. They're allowed to say "shit" and believe you me, "shit" is a great description for a lot of the things that happen in those restaurants.

Why?

I enjoy reading message boards, but I don't care for all the profanity, especially when I'm not expecting it. I haven't edited the word list or anything, so I pretty much just went with whatever the default list is and that happens to filter "***" and a bunch of other words.

probably the worst show on tv. I used to watch it, but gave up when I realized the producers were just mailing it in every season. Here's a crazy idea, try changing it up a bit from season to season. Maybe do something crazy like NOT have it be men vs women??? When I was a kid, I liked The Frugal Gourmet & the Cajun Cook.

I like Julia Child reruns as well as Jacques Pepin. I'm also a fan of Good Eats & Nihon Iron Chef.

I also like Martha Stewart's cooking shows, sort of in an ironic way.
