A week or two ago, Mac was giving the Gambling 101 lecture to rest of the staff, and he said that it is important to get a good number early. This is coming from a guy who bets bad numbers almost every time he bets on the NFL. I started multiple threads about it last year.

Mac's four point strategy:

1. Bet a bad number.
2. Bet a road favorite, or an over.
3. Hand your man an envelope on Tuesday.
4. Go on the air, and tell everybody how good you are at gambling.
