They also have a chip on their shoulder and role players who are very good at their roles. They are tougher than the Knicks... and I know that's not measurable. Eat me, Bernstein.

I'm not sure why everyone assumed the Knicks would get past Indy. I guess I'll stick with my original prediction of Indy in 6, but I have a feeling it might be less than that. They are a better team.

I disagree on JR being dislikable. He makes me laugh.

The Lebron MVP ceremony is bad. To bad he wasn't man enough to win in Cleveland, took the easy way out.

Seems FF has been oddly quiet tonight....couldn't be that the Spurs are getting it handed to them right now

it's surprising to see the Spurs playing so desperate right now...there's 8 minutes left and they're chucking up 3's like there's 30 seconds left

Well yeah, that sucked...but it's also pretty much how the Denver series started
It's clear they're not going to just breeze by GS

it's only game 1....plenty more to come

everyone was saying the same thing after the game 1 loss to Denver
ohh the sky is falling
what a crushing loss
they'll never recover
etc.

That's about as bad as they've looked in the playoffs in as long as I can remember. I'm not that concerned, but that didn't look like a Popovich-coached team playing on their home floor.

Spurs will win in 7.

My first round crow was appetizing, just spreading it around a bit.

44 points last night for the Warriors' Steph Curry in the Game 1 losing effort. Unfortunately, dating back to 1997, Golden State has lost 30 straight in San Antonio. I think that includes the NBA Playoffs.

I think it's promising that they played a poor game and still had the furious comeback to force OT and then to win at the end of 2OT. I still like the Spurs in 5 or 6. It's just gonna suck having to root against them when they make the Finals against the Bulls.

Tonight, NBA/TNT has another Conference Semifinal twinbill. Pacers/Knicks Game 2 (IND leads 1-0) in New York at 6P followed by Grizzlies/Thunder Game 2 (OKC leads 1-0) shortly thereafter. Wouldn't be shocked to see the Knicks & Grizzlies even their respective series.

What the fuck happened to the Pacers last night.

I blinked, and they went from up by 2, to down by 20.

That whole putting the ball in the basket and the concept of defense became foreign to them.

I get the feeling most of the playoff series in this round are going at least 6 games.

I think the Warriors do have the advantage now because their home arena is like the 6th man on the court.
