I think what happened to Luol Deng is very unfortunate and for lack of a better word, freaky. I don't know if I'd go as far as mentioning Deng in the same breath with retired NBC5 newsman Warner Saunders.

Warner was off NBC5 for a few months prior to his retirement in 2009 due to a mysterious illness that affected his voice.

Hearing Deng yesterday, he not only doesn't sound real good, but I get the impression that we might have seen the last of Deng this season with the Bulls, too.

I like how Terry said repeatedly that the Rose should he/should he not come back discussion never stops...so they spend the first 40 minutes discussing it. Got it.

I believe the issue comes with the fact that he jumped all over Cutler's shit for leaving the NFC title game. On WYC yesterday someone quoted his article that stated something along the lines of 'I dont need to see any evidence to know Cutler quit.'

So evidence is good for Rose and bad for Cutler.

While there are legit arguments on both sides regarding whether Derrick Rose should test out the new knee in actual games, I'm starting to wonder about the Bulls' medical staff.

There have been issues raised regarding the man who performed the surgery on Rose's knee a year ago this Sunday, Dr. Brian Cole, who happens to be the team's team doctor & co-host of "Sports Medicine Weekly" Saturday mornings up the dial on the Bulls Radio Network flagship. Also, why didn't Rose seek the opinion of Dr. James Andrews, who has worked on so many pro athletes? I get the impression that while the Bulls have a lot of money invested long term in Rose, I wonder if the team should consider making changes in their medical staff once this season ends.

You got me, Doc. Sorry for misinterpreting your post. I've heard a lot of crazy reactions to Whitlock's article over the past couple of days, though.
