BREAKING NEWS from Los Angeles...According to TMZ.com, the voice of NBC Sports' "Sunday Night Football" since the network got back into the NFL business in 2006, Al Michaels, has officially been charged with 2 counts of misdemeanor DUI in connection with his arrest in Santa Monica, CA last month.

If convicted, Al faces up to 6 months in jail & a $1,000 fine. It's unlikely Al would face any jail time considering the fact he doesn't have any priors on his record.

The veteran sportscaster was arrested April 19th after allegedly making an illegal U-turn in front of a DUI checkpoint.
