My mom will actually be in town from South Carolina so probably go out to dinner somewhere with
her and my dad. I think we are couch shopping that day when they get here.

The Ashley Furniture in Kenosha has some good sales going on.

We have been watching their ads for when we are going to buy a new bedroom set

Cool, I will definitely check it out. I went with a friend to Steinhafels last night which is a big place next to
Woodmans. They are running a big sale right now on stuff so if you haven't been it may be worth looking at.
Lots of options, I just need to find a sectional to fit my relatively small great room. I haven't
purchased a couch in many years and being a single guy, they are a bit more than I remember. Thankfully
that is the only major purchase I need to make for the move. Already bought a washer and dryer.

We walked through Steinhafels a while back...weren't too impressed with what they had.

If you plan to spend a lot of time on your couch and you are a fairly big guy, I recommend paying a little more for high-quality furniture. A good couch from a place like Walter E. Smith will be expensive, but the cost will be justified by its comfort level and comparatively long lifespan. My wife and I paid a ton of cash for a huge sectional at Walter E. Smith almost a decade ago. It has barely declined in appearance or comfort over that period.

I'll certainly keep that in mind TM. I am hoping I can find something that works for me in the
$3000 range. I need some money for other incidentals as well as some scratch to build a
garden in the backyard.

Check out the Macys Furniture store on Golf Road in Schaumburg, they have a huge clearance center with great prices. Also, The Room Place on Rohlwing Rd. in Addison has a huge clearance center too with great deals.

Most of the stuff at the Room Place is mediocre or bad. Macy's stuff is better.

Probably cost a chunk to ship a couch up to Kenosha from down there.

I hope to God that this is all extremely cryptic innuendo.

My mom lives in the FLA, so we sent her some of those Sherry's Berries (big hit, she got them tonight and callde right away loving them) and some other shit.
I'll see her in July and make sure we make a nice dinner.

My wifes mother (a hard cussin pot smokin firecracker, just like DW   ) will be coming by tomorrow for some BBQ.
