Other teams have these girls dedicate way too much time to this "Job" like it is a career!

Back in the day, The Bulls Cathy Core (sp?) director of "cheering" would regularily fight with Phil, when players came out to shoot, 5 or 10 minutes before her time was up! Phil, would have to have guys sit down and not get ready for games because this lady thought anyone gave a shit if the girls were doing anything/everything right.

Now, if you are a really hot/dancer/cheerleader type, looking for whatever the next step might be from cheering, you are not going to invest the time and effort the directors want. No way.

Don't they also have to be employed as something else to be a Bulls cheerleader, being a Luv-a-Bull can't be their only job? Or am I confusing this w/ Football referees?

As someone who was a cheerleader for 4 years in college, the average ones were much more fun.

Don't forget I'm one of the only people here who has played NCAA sports I played soccer in the fall and baseball in the spring and wasn't doing anything in the winter. Some of the girls who played soccer were also cheerleaders and asked me if I wanted to do it. As I'm not one to say no to athletic women in spandex I said why not. This was just D3 though so the cheerleaders weren't petite waifs who weighed less than 100 pounds. Some were almost close to cheerleader size and some were like the soccer players who would run you over for looking at them crosseyed. I know I've mentioned it here before but I've been to cheerleader sleepovers, but sadly they're nothing like the movies I saw as a kid.

The Knicks cheerleader that KS posted a pic of is actually not bad.
