Yes, the comments can be considered offensive, but I don't believe Dan can be offended by them.

Did he state that he was personally offended? If so, then point taken.

He didn't say "I am personally offended". He just called Garcia a racist and hoped sponsors would say adios.
Dan did raise his voice, showing his angst for the comment. I guess that's what RSG found offensive.

You can SO tell Boers is at home today. Different sound quality.

Why does he do the show from his house twice a week again!?

Cause his bosses let him?

Brian Urlacher is a first ballot HOF'er. To quote the great Archie Bunker, "Case cloooosed!"

Moment of silence for Carroll O'Connor, the actor who played Archie on "All in the Family" and the spinoff "Archie Bunker's Place" please...Thank you.

Urlacher doesn't really fit on Dr. Ken's list. I say he waits a year.

It's called a spinoff, although "Archie Bunker's Place" didn't last nearly as long as "All in the Family".

If you like watching fish flopping around on the sidewalk suffocating, then "Archie Bunker's Place" is the show for you.

In the end, though, neither thing died quickly enough.

The show ended for me when Edith died.

It also spawned a spinoff with Meathead divorcing Gloria and her moving out to California

I agree with Shark. I don't think Urlacher gets in first ballot. He will get in soon thereafter.

All In the Family also begat:
The Jeffersons
Maude
Good Times (indirectly as the Florida characer was spun off from Maude)

Just like M*A*S*H ended when Henry died.

AITF was dead to me after Mike and Gloria went to Cali.

I've never thought of Urlacher as anything great. He was good. But I never watched the Bears on a weekly basis. Might be the Packer taint blinding from his "greatness." I suppose he gets in the HoF on the first ballot. Singletary did.

Loved toward the end of the show when Drinky got on Bernsie for being annoying while trying to sound all Bernsie while checking radar forecast for Sox game start. Terry joined in as well then someone called in right away and stepped it up. To Dan's credit he mostly took it.

Do I think he gets in on the first ballot? Not so sure, especially considering Ray Lewis won 2 Super Bowl rings including 1 in his final game in Super Bowl XLVII for the Ravens over the 49ers.

For all I know, there are guys I've never even heard of from before I was even born that might get in ahead of Urlacher. It doesn't seem fair, but it's not a perfect system either.

You keep talking as if both Lewis and Urlacher cannot be in the same class. Just not true SHARK.

 So you really think there might be an NFL player you have never heard of that bumps Urlacher out of his spot....

Keep fighting the battle tho SHARK, just like a certain player would never ever be in a Bears uniform.

appropriate that a Packer fan can't see something because a taint is blocking his vision

What is the argument against Urlacher making the hall of fame on the first time? I mean, anything can happen, but in reality there are very few players of his generation that would deserve it more. Ray Lewis may be better but it's not that large of a gap.

Because Ray Lewis will be getting in that year, and apparently, the HoF will not vote in two great players at once.
