Not sure if either can be bothered to show up today and know what's going on but I have a feeling it will be a great show.

Some Possible Highlights:

-Blackhawks talk, will it be well informed talk? You be the judge.
-NO NBA TALK BY MAC.
-Fleeting NBA talk by Meat.
-White Sox? Who fucking cares.
-Old movie references.
-An awkward interview or two. Gotta fill time.
-Shots at ESPN? That would be fun, the truth hurts.
-Meat being a silly bitch about a show pot that Mac filled up?
-Bad gambling advice by Mac.
-Mac grumbling under his breath, Meat doing his "mmmmmmmmmhmmmmmmmmm."
-#54 talk....maybe?
In the end, who the hell cares.....these guys sure as fuck don't.

Mac, you're outta touch.

Meat, you're outta time.

But I'm outta my head when you're not around.

Settin' 'em up, knockin' 'em down...

-A David Haugh interview about #54 and his HoF prospects, SHARK take notice!
-Big Blackhawks talk today, it will be the focus.
-A Big Chico Ron Rivera interview after 12pm about..........stuff.
-Meet with fleeting NBA playoff talk, Mac not interested, didn't watch.

It's too easy!

Candyman is finally in a good mood. We shall see how long this lasts especially with Mac most likely squashing his NBA talk at any moment.

Good catch.

When Meat is in a good mood and not breaking down mentally and emotionally this show can be pretty damn good.

Mac squashing all non-NHL talk from Meat is pretty funny. Face it Candy Man, it's an all NHL/Urlacher week!

Apparently Hawk is entering into Max Dementia Mode.

Sad to see, but I can't lie and say I didn't sit and listen for fun.

How the hell are they interviewing Len 30 minutes before the first pitch? No lead off man for whatever station has this game on??

Good to hear sports jeopardy. The Jiggs part at the end is great.

I haven't seen pre-game this year but I don't remember it being a large amount of Len time.

Big Sox fan Mac watched the Cubs and Pirates and then switched to movies.

And I remember all the slow white running backs in the 60s too. Guys like Leroy Kelly, Jim Brown, Gayle Sayers. It's funny how so many guys remember the time they came of age as a "golden age". 60s football was slow. In the 70s players suddenly became lightning fast.

Oh man, that's funny and sad.

Who knows if Mac even watched any sports back in the 60/70's, either, did he really watch Franco Harris smash down the field? He must have been really out of place with little to add at the school lunch table, on Mondays.

I'm sure it was all comfy-cozey for you clowns.

What a shame.

Either way, you post about this show or see yourself out.

Someguy, welcome back. Good to have you.

As far as Speeps is concerned, he is a lost and lonely soul, pay him no attention.

This was a Comcast SportsNet game this afternoon. Usually, they'd have "Cubs Pregame Live" with the bald-headed David Kaplan & Todd Hollandsworth in the studio & those 2 doing "Postgame Live" afterwards.

By the way, the guys were talking about changing the name to the Mac or Spiegs show, considering all the off time the two have taken. It's kinda like the old Al and/or Ed Show on 720 WGN Radio many years ago with Al Lerner and/or Ed Curran.

Ben Finfer sits in for Spiegs tomorrow while the Daily Herald's Barry Rozner subs for Mac on Memorial Day.

I agree. He is lost, destitute and confused. I'm thinking we can get him back on track.

He has never been more on track. Solid.

His eradication of the Harry virus has made some uncomfortable.....nervous, even.
