Good to hear sports jeopardy. The Jiggs part at the end is great.

Still my favorite, wish I would've known it was going to be on. Entertaining to me even if the contestants suck.

I've taken a slight detour from Sports Radio lately though....just have it on in spurts (not Murph like spurts either)

I mostly listen to Grobber at night on my way home to decompress. He is much more calm, laid back and easy going, which is what I need in my life right now. Not to say that I won't listen to M&S or whoever, but I lean more towards music these days with suck ass baseball teams, D. Rose arguement and hockey overkill. Plus, one or the other of them is gone half the time anyway....makes me confusey.

JORR- Don't misrepresent, my brother. I flipped the Sox up to the top deck of monitors after the top of the 4th. I had my two Hawk soundbytes already so enough time was spent listening to that often somnambulant crew.

As for the NFL game changing.... you better believe it did. Look at the NFL films video and all the arm/hand tackling. Butkus threw around white running backs like Green Bay's Donnie Anderson, Minnesota's Dave Osborn and Bill Brown. When the game went to astroturf in the '70s.... it did change dramatically. No more Walt Garrisons. Yes, there were a few....but the NFL got markedly faster. And better.

Okay. I guess I misunderstood. It's okay to be a Cubs fan though. They're headed to the World Series in '15. Or '16. Or maybe '17.

Of course the game has changed. That's why guys who couldn't carry Johnny Unitas' jock throw for more yardage than he could ever dream of. But the idea that a guy like Butkus who was bigger and faster than Ray Lewis was inferior to anyone is just silly. There are guys who play today who couldn't play then and guys who played then that couldn't play today. That has everything to do with rules and strategy and nothing to do with man evolving in 40 years.

This thread made me sick.

No one is forcing you to click on the thread and post in it.

Is it my wild and pulsating masculinity that draws you in like a moth to the flame? Don't get too close, KS, I will burn you up.

You just made an incredibly funny joke, terribly unfunny. Way to go.

Huh?

Are you dumb or just confused?

Both, possibly?
