Well, Terry, they're not.

listening to this show is hilarious now. If I was the Mac show I'd cut this up ad infinitum.

Detroit is talented. It's not like the Hawks aren't showing TWTW...save maybe parts of Game 2. It's a combination of some great goaltending by Howard, bad luck (5 posts), and Babcock out coaching Q to the point where it's become funny.

oh, and for those of you curious, Dan and Terry both told Bridge Creek citizens to move after the tornado. So yes, they did that.

The guys are broadcasting live this afternoon from Small World Inn, 23325 E. 106th St. with Cubs' tickets to give away on their latest stop on the "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour".

I don't know if they'll talk a little White Sox/Marlins during this afternoon's show. Might "MLB on FOX" analyst Eric Karros, in town to call the game on FOX Sports' "Baseball Night in America" with Thom Brennaman tomorrow night, be among the guests?

I stand corrected then. At least his pudwackiness is consistent.

maybe Terry's peeps told him the Hawks would win.

Next time don't go so hard predicting something, Terry.

That was my beef all along. If there is one sport where you can NEVER be so absolutely sure of an outcome before a series starts, it's hockey. How many times have we seen the #8 upset the #1? Terry, Dan, Mac, etc. were all talking as if this series were done before the puck was dropped in game one.

Look no further than last year, guys. The Los Angeles Kings won the Stanley Cup as an #8 seed. When your team has a rock solid goalie, it can take you places. Whether the Detroit Red Wings' Jimmy Howard is 2013speak for Kings' goalie Jonathan Quick isn't necessarily clear. Quick was so $$$$ for L.A. in their Stanley Cup run a season ago.

While so many are down on the Blackhawks right now, including Mac himself, consider this. The Red Wings beat a Ducks' team in Round 1 that a lot of people nationally had winning the Stanley Cup. Dan Patrick & "PTI's" Tony Kornheiser were among them that picked Anaheim, not the Hawks, to hoist the Cup. All bets are off in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

this from two guys who were wrong on almost every Cubs prediction they've made. They won't make football predictions tho! Wait...why?

As bummed as many are right now about the Blackhawks on the brink of elimination, give the Red Wings their props. They've made the necessary adjustments since the Game 1 loss and Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard has stopped all but 2 Patrick Kane goals. Right now, the Wings have 2 chances to send the Hawks home for the summer. The first of those chances is tomorrow in Game 5 and Game 6 is back in Detroit Monday if necessary, possibly opposite Cubs/White Sox. Can they finish the job? Wouldn't be something if the Hawks became the 21st team in NHL Stanley Cup history to turn a 1-3 deficit into a 7 game series win?

The Wings hit a post and a crossbar in game 1. Teams hit posts all the time. Why can't fans and media just say that they are getting beat by a team that they underestimated?

I'm not laughing at the notion of the Blackhawks winning, I'm laughing at how badly you wanted to post something and that's what you came up with.

This guy in his late 50's just called in asked Terry a question about the '67 Blackhawks being in a similar situation as the Hawks are now. That's funny enough itself, but Terry's response was, "I don't recall that series." I'm with Terry on this. If you call in to B&B and ask Terry a serious, analytical question about hockey you're an idiot. Have you not been listening for the last 16 years.

Much like Dan likes to play to role of Morality Cop, are "we" ok with them letting out (over the air) Bob In Niles' address/room number (for them to come by and pickup some Marx VHS tapes)? Is that cool? I don't know if Bob is just old and addled or has some sort of deficiency, but how is that alright?

Mike in Milwaukee also bugs me, at least a bit, as they sit there and giggle like schoolgirls as a guy continually calls in hammered and belches out drops for them to play later. I don't think Mike is anywhere near as questionable as Bob, but still.

Anyway, surprised no one has posted about this - seems odd not to dump that part in respect to his family etc.
