Yes, I did catch it and my dad looked at me and asked me, "What the hell was that?" All I could say was
I thought they were man pads. Pretty disturbing. When I begin to involuntarily pee myself I know the
end is near.

Exactly my reaction. I thought it was a joke or something at first.

Tony Siragusa and the words "leakage" should never be combined on our televisions. Ever.

Siragusa tells some 45 minute story about shitting his pants in an NFL game when he's on Stern. It's one of his "go-to" stories.

I'm surprised that Siragusa can talk for 45 consecutive minutes without having to stop to take a shit.

I cannot seem to escape the commercials for Smash Mouth's upcoming concert. The only songs of theirs I have ever heard are the ones I hear in the commercial before I change the station, and they all displease me.

This isn't specific to Chili's but it was the most recent commercial I saw that employed meaningless advertising buzzwords. What the hell is "House Baked" supposed to mean? I get that it is supposed to convey a feeling of quality/freshness but why not just say fresh baked?

But how do you eat the bones if there are no bones?

Thus, the comedy.

I think that was the point of the commercial, guys.

Truth be told, there are other boneless products that KFC serves, long before they introduced this Original Boneless Chicken last month.

There's several of them, but if you're talking about the one with the black guy, I agree. That dude sells that shit.

A Verizon PSA where a mother talks about how her son is paralyzed from an accident due to the other driver texting. The mother's angst/sadness in the commercial is very depressing. On Spotify you can't mute or it'll pause. Such a brutal buzzkill.

There's a BMO Harris spot where, if you're not paying close attention, it's just a bunch of shit happening to some woman. She finds out she's expecting triplets, and then the roof caves in over her bed, and then I think she gets hit by a car or something. The mere fact that I ended that sentence with "I think she gets hit by a car or something" should indicate that they did not write for the passive-listening aspect of radio commercial breaks all that well. I suppose the general premise is "a bunch of shit happens to people, ergo, be prepared for said shit by banking with BMO Harris," but none of it seems particularly focused, and so I can't remember the call to action amid all the various misfortunes of these yuppies. Does anyone else notice this?

Yes. I know men are often made to play the fool in commercials, inasmuch as women make most of the consumer decisions and you'll be goddamned to make them play the fool to themselves, but what kind of shithead lets rainwater come in over his bed?

This Cubs "Committed" commercial with the guy who likes to heckle. He sounds like he's mildly retarded.

"I like to talk to the ah-posing team's players. When the Cubs win the World Series, I'm going to get a tattoo on my face!!"

He also says something like "When they see me coming, they know it's going to be a fun time."

Or, they think "Oh, great. Here comes that fucking idiot who yells stupid shit the whole game."

The Modelo commercial where the guy with thick-rimmed glasses and a stocking cap raises the group's "street cred" in a bar is the most unintentionally hilarious misuse of celluloid since Oliver Stone's Doors movie.

The problem is that the essence of Fleetwood Mac is the vocal harmony. Without springing for another voice, it just sounds like some woman idly singing in the shower. Singing about the flexibility of insurance, I guess.

I believe you were the one who suggested reading Yelp reviews for IJL. And I must thank you for that. I spent about an hour reading review after review. Pretty funny.

The McDonald's $1 soft drink commercials are becoming unbearable. There is nothing particularly offensive about them. But CBS has fucking zero inventory for the online player so this commercial gets played 3 times in one break. Is there no way the SCORE sales department can't do a over-the-air and online ad package? The radio player ad variety is vomit.
