There is just something about Arroyo that irritates me. Probably his weird hair, weird body and weird delivery......and the fact that he usually owns the shit out of the Cubs. Mowed em down in the first.

He may be the softest pitcher in all of MLB, yet he is effective.

To bad we don't have him instead of Edwin 53M Jackson

I think the stat that the 9 spot in the cubs lineup has produced more rbi's than the 4 spot is for real.

Feldman with a bomb!!!

I don't even have to turn the game to know I want to shove that fucking tooth pick all the way into Dusty's ear.

I don't know where one would find that stat but I believe I heard it discussed either on the radio or by the broadcast team for the pirates last series.

Castro is not having a very good year. Everything has sucked so much that it hasn't been that noticeable but all of his numbers are down. He is less than 1/3 of the way through the season so there is plenty of time to pick it up but if he is going to hit like this and continue with the errors he is going to 2nd base. It is also interesting that Swaimer has all but red lighted him with Rizzo batting behind him taking away his moderately good amount of stolen bases.

Yes this is right. The Cubs pitchers have more RBI than the collective 4 spot.

I find that one extremely hard to believe.

Hasn't Soriano been batting 4th most of the year? He has 16 RBIs himself. I doubt the pitchers have more than that.

I was wrong. 4 spot has 16 RBi's , the pitchers have 15

Suicide squeeze. Mark that 1 off the list of ways to lose.

For fuck's sake.....I turn on 1 inning and they go from being up 2-1 to down 5-2.

And Handel on the Law is pre-empted by Cardinal baseball. Might have to start drinking.

I told my brother on Sunday when we were leading the Mets that this Cubs team is showing some promise and maybe we're not THAT bad. I went outside for a minute, came back in and it was 4-3 Mets. We haven't won a game since I said that. I'm good at having bad baseball thoughts.

Pukin Rally!!! Tied it up. I'm sure they will find a way to lose to the toothpick but at least they tried.

So now Dusty is being "Old School" beyond blowing out young pitchers, by suggesting his staff ace fight another pitcher.
