Sox are pitching great to everybody except the Cubs backstops.

Its the top of the 5th, and it feels like the 8th in the second game of a double header. Mercy they will be lucky to finish this game before puckdrop.

There's been talk about June 24th, which is a common off day, but so far, no date has been announced officially. I've also heard talk about the two teams doing what the Mets & Yankees did in 2003. Those two teams played a day-night DH starting at Yankee Stadium and ending at Shea Stadium. The Yankees swept the two by scores of 7-1 and 9-8 respectively.

Thank you, kind sir.

Feldman has thrown 70 through 4 so enjoy taking BP of the worst bullpen in baseball in an inning or 2.

SHARK, I don't think thats going to happen this year considering they have less than 24 hours before tomorrow's game, and the Sox are scheduled to fly out to Oakland after that.

Frank, I don't think a day-night, two ballpark DH between the White Sox & Cubs is doable either, but I know the Yankees & Mets did so in 2003. That was unprecedented.

You know, I was thinking the other day... Soriano is actually a good LF now. I'm not sure if that is a good thought.

It seems hard to believe, former Nationals' manager Frank Robinson had to basically threaten Alfonso Soriano to play the outfield. He didn't want to play out there.

I said that after he made a nice catch a few minutes ago and immediately couched it with..."well ya know....considering where he came from."

He's adequate

They also miss Gordon Beckham. Say what you will about his bat on the whole, but Beckham has done very well in his short career vs. the Chicago National League Ballclub.

That too, but AJ was always in the middle of something. Most of it good for the men in black. Even if it wasn't, he added a level of entertainment on par with a poor mans WWE spectrum of things.

Getting smacked in the face during a 2006 "MLB on FOX" game was classic!

Yeah, I know, but Mike Cameron did the same as a Mariner vs. former White Sox pitcher Jim Parque, too. You know...3 homers in a game.

I'm all for it. There are guys the White Sox should send packing in exchange for prospects. Other than catcher Josh Phegley, who might be the most ready to play right now on this awful roster, there's very little the Sox can actually deal.

Thanks to going for it year after year, the Sox don't have prospects in their system to trade for a rent-a-veteran. It's clearly showing now.
