I like to dress up - every girl loves a sharp dressed man. But, It's just too pricey. suits are $1000, dress pants $200, shoes $200+, shirts $50+.

I just stick with the Silverts line from Sears.

I feel no less comfortable in a suit than I do in khakis and an oxford. A tie isn't even an issue. It's really shoes that dictate my comfort level.

Nordstrom's at Woodfield. The salespeople kind of hang back until you need them, so you can browse without feeling like your on a speed date.

For denim suits, I would go with Alcala's at Grand and Ashland.
