My bad. I thought you were talking about this season. Carry on then.

I said Detroit would win the division and they did, it was just that the margin was 3 games rather than 5...big deal. I said that both Detroit and Cleveland would finish ahead of the Sox this year and they are both leading the Sox and will beat them out as predicted.

3 games is not 5. Remember how you were a math whiz a few months ago?
Can't have it both ways asshole. 3 games simply isn't 5. It is a big deal. You were dead wrong.

he pitched great yesterday. Outside of Harvey on the Mets, that was the best I've seen against the Sox this season. Nothing you can do except tip as a Sox fan except tip your cap and hope the Sox can at the very least win 2 of the next 3 games.

Actually, it is a big deal. A very big deal. You were wrong, and if you had bet on that you would have lost your money. You were wrong, end of discussion.

All those who scoffed at my prediction of Cleveland finishing ahead of the Sox (some argued that K.C. was a better choice) feel free to reconsider. Cleveland is the only real threat to Detroit in the division. Some people hate to say I told you so. I don't mind.
If this happens, it will be balanced out by how you didn't forsee the White Sox being the only real threat to Detroit last year. Congratulations on not being stupid all the time.

I said that Detroit would win the division and they did. I said when the Sox were up 3 games with 2 weeks left in the season, that the Tigers would still win the division....I was right. Now Cleveland is doing what I expected, as is Detroit to a lesser degree. Frank....the year is not over and when it is, the Sox will have lost by 5 games or more...you AND the Sux lose.
Clearly though you were wrong that the Sox were a threat last year, since any rational person would think a team that lost by 3 games was a threat and you did not think that was going to happen.

So yes, just like every year, you make the same stupid predictions and then pat yourself on the back when some of them come in.

Well, when the sceduled 4 games is over the Sux are gonna be under .500 dipshit. It's only because the Sux got a rainout in a game they were also losing, that they won't be even further under .500

Now that this silly distraction is out of the way, we can return to dominating the rest of baseball.

We'll get our revenge on the Cubs in October.

This is the low point in the Sox magical run. The "were getting our shit together and winning now" music is cued up and ready to go

At Trader SHARK's, we're offering a former NL Cy Young Award winner who might be able to help a contending team. Something this White Sox team isn't.

If you act now, I can throw in Adam "The Strikeout Machine" Dunn, the washed up Paul Konerko & journeyman outfielder Dewayne Wise along with Jake Peavy...

Those are terrible thoughts SHARK.

Why would you trade anyone from a team destined to win the World Series?

They're not winning the World Series anytime soon. Not with the monkey crap on this roster!

Well, they wanted to trade Contreras and Crede the last time they won too, so maybe SHARK is onto something....

SHARK, maybe just stick to posting the lineups and news stories you are good at.

Not so much when it comes to breaking down what the Sox should do. Trading Dunn, Konerko, Peavy, and firing Manto is about as meatball as you can get.

Frank, it's not as meatball as you think. That's what the White Sox tend to do when things aren't going well. They don't fire the manager, but they end up firing the hitting coach. It's going to get worse. A lot worse, especially with a trip to a Sox house of horrors next in Oakland this weekend.

YOu don't know its going to get worse, you don't know they are going to fire Manto, so you should probably not present those as factual statements.

Although the trip to Oakland is no treat, after that (to be fair) the schedule is actually quite favorable in June. Lots of games vs teams below .500 . Of course, the Cubs are well below .500 and things have not gone well vs them. But they should have the chance to gain some ground and get some ignorant fans hopes up, before fading again.

Frank, I'm being just that...

Bad Aprils for the White Sox usually are a bad omen for the rest of the season, and I'm not BS-ing. I'm just stating my opinion. When the team stinks like this, I don't know why the hitting coach takes the fall, but they do on the Southside.

Even though the schedule appears favorable, the way the Sox are scuffling at the plate, not picking up the damn baseball & constantly making base-running blunders, there are no gimmes for this team.
