Miami is a total confidence momentum team. Once James get hot, all the other players like Haslem start to feel like they're invincible and can't miss. When Miami is losing and their big guys are missing the other guys miss too.

Indiana has the right guys to beat this team, but their margin for error is smaller than the Heat, especially on the road. You absolutely cannot turn the ball over. Indiana has 18 turnovers and gives up 22 points off those turnovers and loses by 11. This loss is basically due to turnovers and Haslem putting up 16 going 8 for 9.

Besides all the turnovers and Haslem the difference in the game was that Indiana's backcourt and bench guys combined for 13 points on 5-18 from the field. They needed at least 15 more points from the backcourt guys.

And somebody tell me why the Birdman did not get tossed?

That game last night, fucking hell, might have been one of the worst playoff performances I've ever seen for any team. Bad is the only description.

-Oodles of missed point black, open lay-ups
-Air balls all over....fucking Stephenson
-Bad passes
-Horrible turnovers
-No communication, which ties in with everything above.

Like Lil' Ditika said, if the Pacers tighten up just a bit they win that game. But they didn't, they instead played like a couple of 8th graders tossing up shit in the driveway.

I didn't watch the game last night, so I'm sure your assessments are correct. Either way, the Spurs are winning the championship, so that's where all my remaining basketball energy is right now.

yeah, i hear you. I'm kind of looking forward to it in a strange way. I really have no interest in baseball right now, I'm sure i will for the playoffs or at the end of the season if there are some good pennant races

but while its certainly fun, the NBA playoffs are kind of exhausting, there's a game on pretty much every night and I can't help myself. it will be nice to get a break for a few months and catch up on some tv shows, movies and other stuff

Stern will make sure it does, it's been one of the few compelling series in the playoffs

It seems that we march in lock-step these days.

He looks like (choose one) a freak from "The Jerry Springer Show" or a rejected contestant from "Let's Make A Deal". Will the NBA suspend Heat backup center Chris "Birdman" Anderson for tomorrow's Game 6 for his shove of the Pacers' Tyler Hansborough and/or contact with an official during the Heat's Game 5 win?
