And there's still a raging asswipe in Elmhurst.

We know. They're not good. We get it.

Guess what? The Cubs suck too.

Those who choose are enjoying the NHL playoffs, and catching some national games when the mood strikes. Some others are just watching to see how bad both teams get. And others (pointing finger at Painter Steve) are just trolling because you're overcompensating for a micropeenus and an overinflated sense of importance because a local radio guy calls you a "Brand".

Fuck off dipshit.

The A's pitchers made the White Sux look silly....again. 2 shutouts in a 3 game series.. Just 3 hits today. God that offense is sad. Has to be tough for a pitcher like Sale to have pitched as well as he did and wind up with a loss. The losing streak now at 6....

You should call two or three shows tomorrow, and talk about how bad the SUX are. That would be great radio.

Glad you were able to come to that conclusion. Me....I just have fun celebrating it and there are still many that are deluded and think the Sux will actually contend in 2013 and I feel the need to let them know they have misjudged the situation.

The Cubs are not very good, thats true. But Cub fans (with any sense) knew going into the season they would not be good. It's a rebuilding team right now and it's gonna be a couple more years.

As far as the NHL playoffs, I have not missed a minute of the Hawks playoff run and have even watched some other games. But I see no reason not to enjoy watching the South Siders lose as well.

Cool

I feel the need to remind you that you are a pudwhack who comes complete with almost daily PTFB moments when I hear your name.

Have a pleasant evening.

I am having a pleasant evening. Hawks are up 4-1 and enjoying some great outstanding grilled shrimp. If you think that your opinion of me or my posts/calls matter at all, you are as deluded as Sux fans that think their team will contend in 2013.

Oh, I don't really care what you think of my opinions. You seem to be the narcissistic type who is oblivious of others' thoughts of you and your character. Most cops (and ex-cops) are.

It's all good.

The "Sux" thing is quite precious, though.

The Cubs sweep the Sox, the Sox have lost 6 in a row and have looked just fucking terrible while doing so, and Elmhurst Steve gets all chirpy.

Let me remind you, Steve, that your team, the Cubs, still has a worse record than the Sox and they are still further out of the playoff picture than the So....excuse me, the Sux.

You are so smart. You are so smart. S-M-R-T.

What has the Cubs record got to do with anything discussed here? Nobody with any sense expected the Cubs to be .500 this year, much less a contending team. If you consider it a good year if your team finishes with a better record than a rebuilding team that lost over 100 games last season, you set the bar pretty low. I said the Cubs would have a losing record and expect them to be sellers at the trade deadline again. But the Sox fans that insisted that their team was gonna be a winning/contending team, were deluded and I do take joy in pointing out how my prediction of a 3rd place finish was a good one....unless the Twins hold onto 3rd and the Sox stay in 4th....

Its has to you with you being a Cubs fan, a raging penis, and the type of guy that gives good Cubs fans a bad rap. The biggest problem with the Cubs isn't Edwin Jackson, or Castro's errors, or a bad bullpen. Its fans like YOU who act all high and mighty with regards to Wrigley and their team. Its Cubs fans like you who are pretty quiet about their team, and jump in to start yelling about the Sox as soon as they start struggling. You have more posts in the Sox section this year than anywhere else on the board combined. Take a look in the mirror, and if it doesn't break, maybe you will realize how worthless you are.

You and Cubs "fans" like you are the biggest asswipes on the face of the earth. This is a fact that cannot be disputed.

I have never been quiet about the Cubs. I have had modest expectations (a slight improvement over 2012 and avoiding 100 losses) for them in 2013. What I was perhaps most vocal about was that it would be a huge mistake to sign Edwin Jackson, which it was. I post in the Sox threads when I see posts that I disagree with. I am a BASEBALL fan, not just a Cubs fan. I love the game and know the game very well. I knew the Sox were going to be a mediocre team this year and predicted they would finish 3rd. fans like you chose to dispute that and now look pretty stupid. The year is not over and playing the Mariners should give your sad team a chance to win a game or two in their next series, but then they get the A's again and things are likely to go badly for them again. All in all, it's not really an awful team, but it's not a very good one either. It's just mediocre.

You might want to rethink the mirror thing though. If anyone on this board is likely to be breaking mirrors it's your ugly mug.

2B Gordon Beckham returns to the 25-man active roster tonight when the White Sox face the Mariners in Seattle. Tyler Greene, who played 2B yesterday in the 2-0 White Sox loss in Oakland and went 0 for 3 with a strikeout in his final AB, has been designated for assignment. It only seems fitting.
