As someone who has watched his team win the BP Cup countless times, I'm happy for all of you to finally know what it is like.

Ridiculous. The reason the NL Central appears to be so strong is because the four other teams have phony records from beating up the Cubs.

Records without Cub games
Cardinals 34-17

Pirates 29-19

Reds 26-19

Usually that beating up on line is reserved for the team in last place

Its a good thing Cubs fans are not obsessed with the Sox. The always tell us that is the case.

Oh wait....

Nothing in this thread changes that fact.

Actually a Cubs fan shouted out the Cubs for winning 4 in a row and then a Sox fan came in talking about the Sox, so, not sure what you mean

I beg to differ. This thread, and the Cubs and Sox sections seems to once again disprove the notion that only Sox fans take shots at the Cubs.

Its just as bad if not worse the other way around.

Im sorry, you didnt mention the White Sox. You were just trolling a Cub fan

Frank, its not close. This board is not a good barometer of the overall fanbase. Id concede its pretty even on here though.

Obviously there are more Cubs fans overall, but they were pretty damn quiet until they won 4 games in a row in the last week of May to get to within 8 games of .500
Maybe they figured they needed something to chirp about until some of them jumped onto the Hawks bandwagon again.

Cubs dominated the Sox these 3 games, and there is really nothing else Sox fans can say. They got their asses kicked. The best part about it for the Sox is that its over.

Cubs fans start here start just as much shit as Sox fans do. I read from many people that the Cubs fans do not care about the Sox. These last 4 or 5 days completely debunks that notion once and for all.

No it doesnt.

There are like 100 people here. There are millions of Cub and Sox fans.

If you're saying on the board, yes. If you're saying its like that for all fans, you are crazy

That's the nicest thing any Cubs fan has said about the Sox on this board.

Its the first thing they have been able to put in the team trophy case in almost 70 years. Let them have their little parties this weekend.

I guess rpb didn't take the "Dress for the job you want" advice today, unless he wants to work at Old Navy.

I assumed you'd be saving the "sick day" for the parade.

Not to mention that guy to the Patrick Kane school of beard growing. Yikes.

Is that chocolate frosting from a donut on your chin or did you fall chin first into a pile of duty.

That is easily the worst attempt at criticism in the history of this board. It should be sent to the hall of fame.

You do realize that it was also my pathetic team's longest winning streak of the year? I was happy to see them put together a few wins in a row. I have nothing against the White Sox. I hope they win their division. Good luck sir.
