For a place that could be described as a dive but its actually nice and just a bar without a ton of people: O'Briens on 156th

For an actual dive, The Dummy Lounge is pretty divey


There are a lot of bars around there. Something for everyone

Also, Kickoffs (open til 4) on the border of Harvey and Midlothian is delightfully dive-ish

That would have been my pick for dive bar 4 years ago but its gotten kinda popular. Maybe its just that I know a lot of Beggars people who go there for Karoke but it seems pretty popular with the mid 20's crowd now.

Its nice and cheap.

I used to live a 5 minute walk from there, but back then it was like 7 depressed regulars and not much more.

I think it caters to the old Reilys Daughter type of crowds now.
