Success.

Man these guys really do not like David Haugh. Their irrational distaste for him almost equals my general distaste for Dan.

Also laying down a very nice trolling base for the rest of the week with this, "there was nothing to worry about with the Kings" talk. Pretty easy to say after the Hawks win the series.

Not sure what they said today about Haugh, but Haugh takes dumb angles all the time. He also doesn't realize that hindsight is a bias, and not penetrating insight.

They did praise Phil Rogers at one point -- so there is hope.

I'm not saying it's not warranted, and I think I've mentioned this before, but I just find it weird that they constantly shit on a guy who occasionally guests hosts on their own station. It's just...odd.

That Ditka commercial for David Spada is just outstanding. Is he calling from a public restroom?

Haugh must have said/did something at some point to B&B to earn the vitriol. They really hammer him. He's an idiot though.

Did I just hear Terry say that Ray Allen and Dwayne Wade are both better than Tim Duncan?

I think that's what he said, but not sure that's what he meant.

Thanks OCK for the spelling.

I'm not sure he meant it that way either. Terry's not THAT stupid. I think he meant the aggregate 3 of Miami were better than S.A's 3. If that's what he meant I agree.

I'm not listening, but perhaps they meant better in this series. Can't really argue that in two games Duncan has been a non-factor so far. Wade and Allen have played well.

joe sheehan wrote a nice little piece calling the white sox the worst offense since the Korean War. I'd post it but can't find it.

What I think he meant was that the trio of James, Allen and Wade have had better careers put together with a better resume than the trio of Duncan, Ginobili and Parker.

Excerpt
From the latest edition of the Joe Sheehan Newsletter:

"Which brings me to the White Sox. They've ticked up a notch from yesterday, when they were at .231, but this is still one of the worst offenses we've seen since the Korean War. Mind you, they don't have the Marlins' excuse; they let A.J. Pierzynski go this offseason, but even with him gone they have a $118 million payroll. Three position players are making at least $13 million. Only Tyler Flowers, among the regulars, is making anything close to the minimum salary. The White Sox came into 2013 trying to compete with the Tigers, and they've found themselves competing with the expansion Mets."

Really setting the world on fire there.

Game 1
Wade 17pts
Allen 13pts

Game 2
Wade 10pts
Allen 13pts

Wade scored 1pt more than Duncan in game 2.

I don't think he meant since they've gotten together, but their entire careers and all of their personal accolades.

I'm glad Terry feels that way. Which will make it all the sweeter if the Spurs win.

I didn't know the Korean War lasted until 1967!

There is a huge difference of being a Hall of Famer and playing at that HOF level. I think Allen and Wade are way past what made them that. That's like when Willie Mays played with the Mets.....one of the best ever...but as a Metropolitan he was a bum 8)
