I decided to start reading the book since I have heard bad things about the movie. After only being about 25% done with the book, I cant imagine how they thought this could be a movie. It's an entertaining read but nothing makes me think it would be a cool movie. This is just going to be another generic zombie movie.

Too lazy to look, but I'm sure there is already a thread for this somewhere...

That's what is so lame about the previews for this movie. The book is all about the aftermath of the zombie war and people telling stories about it. It is a different concept.

You do know that you aren't being forced to watch it, to buy tickets to see it or to sit down and read books about it, right?

And anyways, the book is called World War Z, not The Walking Dead. They aren't the same, hopefully that clears up any confusion on your end. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask them via written correspondence.

Saw it last night. I liked it. GF said it was very similar to Outbreak, which I have not seen. No one had sex with a monkey in this movie, though a chihuahua perishes
