The irony of Tim Tebow being Forbes most influential athlete is his detractors overkill reaction. Christian evangelists are nothing new in sports and their presence is felt across the country but spending an inordinate amount of negative attention only serves to enhance his stature. Judge him for what he does on the field, leave the rest alone, and the Tebow talk will be short and simple.
