My stepson bought a Miami Heat hat earlier last week. I asked if he was a fan. He said yes. I said, are you a diehard fan, he said yes. BTW, he is 13. I said, you know that Lebron has 10 years left max. He said yes. I said, June 2023, are you going to wear this hat? He said yes. I said I am going to give you so much shit on this one (without using the profanity.)

Still think the Heat win the series. Neal and Green can't do that every night. Plus it looks like Parker is done.

But they have killed the "greatest team ever" vibe. So we got that going for us.

You need to start teaching him about Rony Sieklay

If Parker goes down, will the Heat have played the easiest schedule in playoff history?

A bad Milwaukee team
A depleted Bulls team
A decent but nothing special Pacers team
A team that had its primary weapon for only three games

Not taking anything away from them, they certainly earned it by winning the no. 1 seed. But it just seems so easy.

Didn't seem so easy for them against Gary Neal last night

Even if Parker plays limited minutes I still think the Spurs take it, although it may go 7.

Wade = Silly bitch.

Bosch = He's got nothin' goin' on, yo.

LeBron = A guy that's around, doing some stuff.

Bench = Eh.

Green and Neal just need to a hit a few next game, with hopefully Bonner not shooting like a blind man, and the spacing will be there. Spurs need to hit those fucking free throws as well.

Yeah, but didn't Parker get injured late? I think the Spurs already had a big lead. If he's gone and Neal or whoever replaces him, the Spurs lost their primary playmaker and distributor. I don't think Neal or whomever can match what Parker does. I already think the Heat will win, and it will be an easy win if Parker is out or if his game is severely compromised by the injury.

Yeah, that's the thing. Everyone who backs the Heat says "Well the Spurs can't ever do that again." They don't really need to though. If they just do 80% of that, they will win the series easily. Everything has to go right for Miami to win, the Spurs have a bigger margin for error. They have more guys that can beat you.

When the Spurs emptied the bench last night I forgot they had a ton of guys who could be useful on a roster somewhere. DaJuan Blair is a good player even if he has no cartiledge in his knees. And then you see the Heat trot out Joel Anthony and you are like oh right their depth blows. They got bailed out by the Birdman having a renesaince this playoffs run.

The Birdman really showed his talons during the series with the Pacers, but now it seems he has been defeathered.

From watching him this series he falls down inexplicably alot. Like no contact on him and he just kind of trips over his own feet and ends up on the court. It's not even like he is trying to flop he just seems clumsy in traffic sometimes.

I actually see it the other way: Miami has a lesser margin for error, while the Spurs have to have everything go right to win. I see it that way because guys like LBJ cover up a lot of mistakes and/or inabilities. The Spurs had that kind of power when Duncan was in his prime, but not anymore.

I realize SA has done great against LeBron, but we'll see if they can keep that up for the rest of the series.

That should nail shut the discussion of ever comparing him to MJ.

He quit last night.

Hopefully for Miami they can figure out a way to be within 5 feet of guys shooting 3-pointers, but I'm not sure if Hall of Fame coach Eric Spoelstra can adjust.

My favorite one is James has never scored more than Jordan’s NBA Finals average of 33.6 ppg, and Jordan never scored less than LeBron’s average of 21.6 ppg.

I was surprised Miami didn't lose their cool last night. The Spurs were beating them like the Heat beat the Bulls and the Bulls' players were flying off the handle.

Game 4 is a must win game for both teams IMO. More so for the Spurs. If the Spurs win Game 4 this series is over. IMO if they don't they will lose in 6. Parker's health will play a role and the Heat will be confident. The Heat are unbeatable when they have that confidence. The Spurs will need to overcome a Game 6 @Boston performance from LeBron.
