Is anyone else a fan of his reviews? I discovered him recently when W_Z was posting all the Angry Video Game Nerd videos. Apparently he had a little cross-promotion "battle" with the Nerd that was pretty entertaining. Anyway, he reviews movies, TV shows, and commercials from the 80s and 90s. I find him to be very funny. Here's a link to all his Nostalgia Critic videos.

He's good, but can go a bit too over the top at times.

I do enjoy his reviews, though, as long as he isn't bringing in douches from other internet channels.

I appreciate the recommendation, as I enjoy reading/watching stuff on pop culture, but I couldn't make it past a couple of minutes on his Seinfeld/Louie commentary. My interest was even shorter on his most recent post. "A bit too over the top at times," SomeGuy? Wow. From what I saw, he was over the top from the minute he appeared on screen. Really annoying persona.

I understand Ed. I agree that he does go overboard with the screaming and mugging. I've found that there's not much gray area when it comes to that kind of humor: people either like it or they hate it.

My personal favorite reviews are Tom & Jerry: The Movie and Full House. Very funny stuff - again, if you like his type of humor.

Over the top is relative with the Internet Review people. In general he is over the top, that's fine with me, but sometimes he goes way off the reservation and I click the fucking button.

he liked my AVGN: The Movie audition. :) around the 3 minute mark.

or maybe he was just being nice...

http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/specials/32984-avgn-movie-casting-call

i think the comments about him going over the top are valid. sometimes he plays it at way too high a level, especially when the movie's not that bad like "It". and his "north" review just was obnoxious.

But...sometimes there are some great ones.

I loved "Kazaam", "Patch Adams", "Little Monsters", "The Langoliers" and "Pearl Harbor".

MELVIN, MELVIN, BROTHER OF THE JOKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there's your veritable 4chan /tv/ nostalgia critic thread emulator. someone always has so make that reference, cuz like, if you haven't seen MELVIN: BROTHER OF THE JOKER, well, um...... i guess you could claim some meta andy kaufman thing, but really, nobody thinks that and well..... just well............ yeah. there's a reason ppl always have to mention it once in nostalgia critic threads

David Lee Roth is a transcendent figure, a true master showman that knows no equal!

Thank me later.

You need to watch them on an HD monitor. Friendly FYI.
