I passed by a new BBQ place in West Rogers Park on Western around Black golf course. That is an odd location for a new restaurant not serving either Kosher or Hallel. I want to give it a try.

Good Dolphin, the place to which you are referring is called Rub's Back Country Smokehouse or something like that. It's not new, but has recently relocated from around the corner on Lunt.

I have eaten at this establishment a few times, and on each occasion it was very disappointing. There is very little smoke flavor in the meat and the sauce is pedestrian. Not worth trying, in my opinion.

Somewhere around Lincoln and Irving is a relatively newish BBQ place called Big Bricks. That's next on my list. I've heard a lot of good things about it.
