So one of Meats criticisms is that the show was depending on Mac and Spiegs show to program their content for them. Right. Coming from a guy whose musical career is based on performing other bands songs. Mut and Merloni were right on in calling them out on their own hackneyed , lazy radio of deliberately mispronouncing and making fun of the Bruins players names. Fucking Meat is such a raging sensitive penis and Mac deserves just as much shit as far as this is concerned too. Just bad.

I got in my car to go get some D&D, turn on 670 and Meat is just about to jump into the fracas. Mac made it OBVIOUS that he wanted NOTHING to do with the path Meat was about to go down. I felt bad for Mac at this point.

Meat made a fool out of himself.

mac didn't want any part of the gargano show years ago when he wanted to do a fans vs fans thing. it was meatball radio but gargano has a sense of humor about it and mac didn't at all. people here got the impression gargano was like mike north which isn't at all accurate.

these guys though sound like they're pretty level headed. and their calling out spiegel in the first 10 minutes was spot on. they know what they're doing and having fun with it.

The only thing worse than how embarrassed I feel from listening to that is how unembarrassed that Spiegal douchebag likely feels.

Addendum .... I now have arrived to the point where the station is talking to that asshole Spiegal, and frankly I don't see how Dan gets a pass in all this .... irrespective of the show's moniker, that's Dan's show and the fact that he apparently doesn't put Matt in check is completely on him as well. Completely came off as a loudmouth and a mealy-mouth.

In the final analysis, I guess the party that should be most embarrassed is WMVP for losing to this show.

Anyone that was having any reservations about dumping princess candyman's dead ass come contract time is probably totally on board after that. That was about as awful as anything he has done and he has done a ton of awful. Its a shame those other guys will probably never read the board but I don't think they would get a kick out of seeing how many people here think meat is a huge douche as well.

Wow that was a tough listen. I cannot wait till Candyman gets the boot, that was an embarrassment.

I can shake the loss last night. It happens.....but I can't shake how awful that segment was. That segment has tainted discussing the series. Mac should call in sick tomorrow and join those guys and hang out with them and hang meat out to dry.

if there was a way mac could call out spiegel on it while still not just outright trashing him that'd be great. mac did actually look pretty good and the two guys gave him credit for it.

Hopefully this is a sign that Mac is coming to the realization that meatpants needs to go. He is beyond brutal. Meatpants is a sensitive whiny bitch.

This was a low point in sports radio, think about that.

I don't think Mac cares or is too lazy to care or maybe to comfortable to care about what Meat says or does, even if it's this bad.

Or maybe he is giving Meat enough rope to hang himself, just let him go with this shit and let him hang himself out to dry with management and the fans. If that's his master plan, well, I'd say he's succeeding.

Meat can be good when he isn't a prissy douche, the ratio of prissy douche to solid on air guy was on the side of the latter not too long ago....now it's tilted to the former by a large spread.

Not good.

My thoughts in Spiegel, was when he started out, he was decent, but about the time he started to change was when he found he was going to be a dad, like his whole attitude changed, during the Penn State stuff, he was a little weird to listen too.

I think Mac wants to have with some of this sports stuff and Spiegel doesn't, and when Spiegel does go and it should be soon, Mac will re-energized again.
