I was there and I heard both, although more awesome than awful. There were four or five guys sitting one section over that wanted to be the chant guys that were trying to start up several chants -- their big one during this segment was Wolverine for Punk.

I didn't see or hear shit. Unlike common practice in other sections, that will always keep me from trying to act like an expert. However, some in the wrestling world think this is a face turn, and bigger push, for Ziggler. I don't know if I like that, or if it's true. Maybe Vince found out Linda took the Zig Zag? Who knows?

I'm expecting some sort of jealousy play-up between AJ and Ziggler -- Ziggler lost the title, while AJ gained one and Ziggler is now emasculated. Del Rio absolutely stole the night for heel heat on that one.

Well there you go newper.

Why so serious Sini? Seem very angry tonight. We had a nice ppv for once. Rejoice.

My personal thoughts:

The Sandow/Shamus match was annoying because the chants for Sandow sound too much like the chants for Shamus. I loved the Curtis Axel pin to end the three way match -- really clever, and I think it was sold pretty well. Women's match came too soon to use as the bathroom break/refreshment break I was hoping for. I don't know if it was even good for a woman's match. These things are what they are I guess. Ambrose vs Kane was pretty good -- ending was a little anticlimactic (any count-out ending usually is for me.) Kane was lumbering around a bit and a few botched moves hampered it, but the ones that actually work, really sell well in person. I was really impressed with the speed that Daniel Bryan has for his size/build, seeing it in person. Ziggler/Del Rio was good -- Del Rio had a lot of heat live... more so than anyone else that night (except Cena in the pre-show packages.) Punk/Jericho was the biggest pop of all that night -- I really like both those guys, and they had the crowd going. The "One More Try" chant was pretty cool too. The tag team match I was really impressed with how fast Bryan can move for the size/shape he is... he was really moving out there. I thought this match worked pretty well too. Good satisfying ending to it. Main event - lumberjack match was fun - loved the initial no reaction on Ryback, and then the second time they all tear him to pieces. The Cena divebomb onto the pile was good for cartoonic effect, but makes absolutely no sense to actually do in a match. So then Ryback wins, which tells you Cena automatically wins the next phase (otherwise, what's the point in a third), and the tables were fun. The steel steps nearly bouncing into the stands was interesting. The ambulance match was good (I enjoyed the precursor announcer table breaking, especially after Kane had teased us with the Spanish announcer table break!) Both of my boys agreed that the company that makes the ambulance probably needs to re-evaluate their QA process. Looks like Cena missed the hole a little bit as Ryback sort of bounces off the side with one of his arms into the hole, and it looks like Cena hesitates before celebrating, but everyone pretty much thought that was an awesome way to end it (though I must say I suspected it since they are twelve feet off the ground at that point with not too many areas to go to that aren't going to be hard as hell or with spectators nearby.)

We really had a good time, and next time I wish they would announce the Spanish announcers! They have to run like cockroaches to the table while the lights are off so as not to interfere with the show. Maybe Del Rio will require they announce them now that he is a champ. 8)

Not sure why Sini is all bent out of shape over my reply to him. Sorry I mocked you using a drug reference  We make jokes here and rip on each other - lighten up Francis.

As for rest holds in a match, its not always a bad thing. If its a Randy Orton side headlock, its boring. But if its worked into a match in such away that it furthers the story that wrestlers are telling then it works. Not every match can be 30 min of straight high spots. That is boring IMO. And to expect Punk with extended time off and Jericho a part timer to put on an hour iron man match is unrealistic expectations. I enjoyed the match and thought it was really well done. Not a perfect 4 or 5 star match but certainly better than anything I have seen since Mania.

I know it's almost too obvious to make fun of Sin Cara at this point but I still can't stop laughing at this.

I'm a little disappointed in Don Tiny. I have photographic proof he was at the event. No review?

I love Jericho but I've found nearly every "big" match since his 2012 return to be somewhat underwhelming, especially the matches with Punk and Ziggler. I'm not sure if it's simply a matter of Jericho no longer having it or his style not meshing with those two guys or what. The Punk series has been a really big letdown. The Wrestlemania match was killed by a dead crowd thanks to the Undertaker-HHH, the Extreme Rules match was somewhat sloppy and merely ended up being 3rd best on the card, and this one was just okay.

I honestly think the 4-way with Sheamus, Orton, and ADR has been the best, but that may have been because my expectations were very low. Jericho can still clearly work since he regularly has the best match on Raw/Smackdown, but his PPV performances during this latest run have been disappointing.

I chalk that up to Jericho turning 43 this fall, and his nonstop schedule of WWE/DWTS/Fozzy. At this stage of his career, I think Jericho deserves to be cut some slack. He comes back, and uses his name value to put other guys over. And he does it without ego and backstage politicking. Just like so many other wrestlers DON'T do. I'll be interested to see what RVD's win/loss record is when he comes back. He's great, but he's always been all about RVD.

I'm in 100% agreement with your thoughts there Dallas.
